Yes you can. But it makes sense to use ours which are provided free of charge. They are extremely strong, waterproof and can easily be stacked for transport.

If you want to use your own we ask that you give us a call to enable us to check that they can be safely transported and stored.

You need good quality boxes that are sealed properly. Our system deals with them as an oversized item, so please select this option when ordering. There will be sizes available to select on the order screen.

That’s not a problem. We store a variety of 'Oversized' items and are always willing to hear what you might have and see if we can accommodate it. We operate our deliveries and collection Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm and our offices are open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm to take phone enquiries.

We charge £4.50 per box per month, less for periods longer than 3 months.  We provide the box and initial pickup free of charge, but you pay £5 per item delivered back to your home, subject to a minimum of £15.

We offer a 10% discount if you pay for 6 in advance or 20% if you pay for 12 months in advance.  Just select the longer term in the order wizard to receive the discounted prices.

You start to pay for storage when the box(s) or outsized item(s) arrives at our storage facility. Or, if you have had the free box(s) for 2 weeks and not sent it back to us.

The boxes we provide you free of charge are of high quality and quite expensive.  We  deliver them to you free and collect them when they are full.  This costs something and we need a minimum charge period to help cover our costs.

You pay monthly in advance and you can ask for your items to be returned at any time. We can’t refund you for the unused part of the month.

We charge £5.00 per box or outsized item to deliver it back to you. We do have a minimum delivery charge of £15.00.

Don’t worry, when we come to collect your items, just give us back the ones you didn't use and you will only be charged to store the ones you filled up.

We use PayPal to take all payments.  If you don’t have a PayPal account there is an option to create one in a few simple steps at the end of the order process.

When we process your first order, you authorise us to take your storage charges at the frequency you sign up for - either monthly, 6 monthly or annually.

Once authorised PayPal will take the charges on the relevant date for each order until you either remove all of your items or cancel your payments.

As you move items in and out of storage, our systems will log the fact the item is added or removed from your account so there is no need to worry, you will only be charged for the items you have in storage.

If you want to cancel your storage subscription you just schedule a delivery of all of your items and notify us you wish to cancel. Your account will be updated and no further storage charges will be made. Remember we are unable to offer any refunds for the current month’s storage charges in which you remove all your boxes.

If we get at least 4 hours’ notice we will cancel the delivery or collection without charge.

If you cancel within 4 hours of delivery or collection and the driver is already on their way to you, unfortunately we would need to charge for the delivery or collection attempt.

The Storage Service operates out of a specialist storage facility in Essex.

Our facility is extremely secure and covered by CCTV which is remotely monitored 24/7. Intruder and Fire system are linked to BT Red Care which means we have a direct link to local fire and police services.

All staff are checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and we only use our own salaried staff to operate the facility.

Simply put, your items will be safer with us than in your own home...

Our storage boxes measure 38cm Wide x 60cm Deep x 33cm High.

Our wardrobe boxes measure 50.8cm Wide x 48.5cm Deep x 124.5cm High.

We ask that you try to keep the weight of a box to 25kg, but don’t worry, we are not like an overzealous airline who will charge extra for every kg you go over, we are only thinking of our staff as they have to carry the boxes, sometimes up and down stairs etc.

If you have a chance to spread heavier items such as books over a number of boxes mixed in with lighter items that really help our staff.

You have the option to seal your box with tamperproof seals but even if you don't we won't look inside unless we suspect there’s something dangerous or illegal inside, or if we’re required to so by Law.

Remember that our terms forbid you from storing anything illegal (including drugs) or explosive or inflammable in your boxes.

You can but we do prefer it if you use ours, that’s why we try to incentivise you to do so by providing them free of charge! We know our boxes are strong, stackable, waterproof and up to the job of being moved and stored.

If you do want to use your own boxes they would be considered an oversized item. All we ask that the box is in good condition and that it is sealed.

If you order by 4pm we aim to get your items to you the next working day.

We certainly do. Our next day delivery service is ideal for solicitors firms, housing associations, building contractors, hospitals and any number of other small businesses who need secure storage, normally for their archives.  This is the core business of our sister company, the Archive Warehouse.

We offer 2 hour delivery and collection time slots which are: 7am-9am | 9am-11am  |  11am-1pm |  1pm-3pm

You indicate your preferred time slot when you make the order, and we will do our best to fit in with you. Please use the “special instructions” box on the website to help us meet your requirements, including indicating what to do if you are out when our driver arrives. For example there may be a neighbour or concierge who can take delivery on your behalf.

If you order by 4pm we aim to get your items to you the next working day in your preferred time slot.

We only need a days' notice so as long as you order before 4pm the day before you need your items and we will get them to you the next day.

As long as you give us more than 4 hours' notice, before the date and time of your collection or delivery then you can rearrange it free of charge.

If you need to change the collection or delivery date or time less than 4 hours from when it is booked, you will unfortunately be charged for the trip as we will already be on route to you.

It's no problems, we will be happy to arrange a delivery to a Postcode outside of our standard coverage area, we will however need to quote a price for the delivery when we know the address as it will fall outside of our standard charges.

We take the care of your belongings very seriously. It’s our business.

• Our vans are always locked and the driver is never far away.
• Our staff always handle your belongings with care.
• The boxes we provide are robust and have been designed to protect the contents.
• We take particular care with your oversize items and aim to return them in the same general condition in which we collected them.
• Our drivers are employed by us. We never employ third party couriers so we are safe in the knowledge that every staff member is taking the very best care of our customers items.
• We do our best to keep the warehouse clean and free of dust, although inevitably there may be some accumulation of dust on individual items
• If you want further protection for your belongings, for example an expensive carbon fibre bike, we can bubble wrap them at an extra charge.

Yes, our drivers will come right to your door to collect the items free of charge as long as the floor you live on in the property has a lift. If there is no lift, we will still come to your door but will need to apply a small handling charge for each floor over the sixth floor above and the sixth floor below ground level.

Our drivers aren't allowed inside your property, just in case they accidently knock the priceless Ming vase off the sideboard whilst carrying a box out. If you want them to help inside, you must take full responsibility.

No, you are free to order your boxes and oversized items in and out of storage as often as you like.

You are able to purchase the box at any time for just £18.99. Then it’s yours to keep.

If you choose not to purchase the box, you are free to use it as long as you are paying for storage however you will need to make it available for collection once you have finished storing your items with us.

No. For a full house move you need to go to a specialist business geared up to dealing with your needs.

Your belongings are stored in a large warehouse accessible only to our staff. You wouldn’t want members of the public to have access to your belongings, and we therefore have a rule that no warehouse visits are allowed.

We don’t insure your belongings.

Most standard home insurance policies include protection for normal household items against risks such as fire, theft and weather damage when they are away from your property. This may cover you so well worth checking.

Every insurance company will vary the amount covered so we urge you to check your policy to be on the safe side.
